Timeline of Woman Suffrage in Canada

For this week’s class, we have been tasked with creating either a website or a timeline of something historical. Given that I have a 41 page document of information on the woman suffrage movement in Canada, I decided to do a quick timeline of the suffrage movement!

My research is more focused on the Prairies than anywhere else and so it is lacking in some areas, and it is certainly not exhaustive, but rather it just highlights some important events between 1870 when the organized suffrage movement got its start and 1960 when First Nations people gained the right to vote.

Have fun playing around with this and feel free to suggest any changes or additions!

I can’t seem to embed on wordpress so here, have a link!
